Q.) How often does NEBTA meet?

A.) From January to December, NEBTA meets each month. The December meeting takes the form of a Holiday Party and auction to raise money for the NEBTA Scholarship fund. In early June, NEBTA holds an Annual Summer Outing and Golf Tournament.

Q.) What happens at NEBTA meetings?

A.) The agendas vary, but generally meetings include an opportunity for networking and industry discussion, an educational program on relevant and timely industry issues, and a reception and meal.

Q.) How can I get involved in NEBTA?

A.) NEBTA is an all-volunteer association. NEBTA NEBTA is an all-volunteer association. NEBTA’s committees (always welcome new additions, ideas and perspectives. For those who are unable to commit to working on a committee, there are often ad hoc projects that require additional resources. Leadership opportunities are available through participation as an officer or committee chair. Please contact the Director of Volunteerism.

Q.) May I bring guests to the meetings?

A.) Yes, NEBTA members are welcome to bring guests to the meetings. Prior to the meeting, the guest must register on the NEBTA website and pay the $75 guest fee online via credit card.

Q.) My company has cut back on expenses. How can I be confident that a membership in NEBTA is worthwhile?

A.)Membership in any organization must have a return on investment or it isn’t worth the member’s time or money. A membership in NEBTA offers opportunities to meet and benchmark with industry counterparts, keep up with industry news and new product offerings, participate in excellent educational events, and apply for scholarships to fund additional industry education and training.
