Programs Committee

 

Plan the educational content of meetings by ascertaining the educational needs of the members and, working as a team, determine the format, the speakers, and the agenda that will meet those needs.

Provide the GBTA New England membership with an appropriate meeting facility which meets the requirements of the monthly program. Provide a convenient system for members in replying to meeting notices and to register at the monthly meetings.

Bylaws/Ethics Committee

 

Promote the highest standards of professional conduct through the examination of ethical principles in issues critical to business travel management. To recommend changes to the Bylaws to reflect the intent of the membership and the changes in our Industry. To apply these principles to policies, procedures and practices of the association and its membership.

Broaden the membership base by actively attracting new members to GBTA New England and facilitating the application process. To serve current members by facilitating the annual renewal process, assuring their accurate inclusion in the membership roster and, thereby, access to all the privileges of GBTA New England membership. To report to the Board of Directors any pending applications and membership status by category.

Volunteerism Committee

 

The Volunteerism Committee is dedicated to creating and promoting opportunities for members to contribute their time, skills, and expertise in support of GBTA New England's goals. We aim to foster a culture of service and engagement, enabling members to make a meaningful impact on the organization and the broader community.

Scholarship Committee

 

Provide members of GBTA New England the opportunity to receive funding for educational offerings that will enhance their knowledge and understanding of the travel industry. 
All Members of the GBTA New England are encouraged to apply for Scholarship Funds.

Technology and Communication Committee

 

Implement appropriate, value-driven technology to better serve our membership and ensure the Association's efficient operation and to provide the association and its membership with contemporary information on new technologies, business applications and processes which will enhance their ability to add value to their organization and travelers. The Technology Committee manages the GBTA New England website.
